Delete your BEV account

You can delete your account in BEV or send a request to our support team.

Delete in BEV

Sign in to the account you want to delete and open Profile.
Choose Delete account in the account settings.
Read the confirmation, type BYEBEV, and choose Delete account.
Complete the identity check when prompted. Keep BEV open until deletion finishes.

Deletion is permanent. Removing the app from your phone does not delete your account.

Request deletion without the app

Email bevvcool@gmail.com with the subject BEV account deletion request. Include the email address or phone number associated with your BEV account and your profile name so we can locate it.

You do not need to reinstall BEV to make a request. We may ask you to verify ownership before deleting an account. Do not send your password or verification codes.

Email a deletion request

You can also use this email to request removal of specific personal data or shared content. Include a link or description of the content.

What happens to your data

Your sign-in account, profile, friend connections, contact-matching entries, notifications, check-ins, and private places are removed.
Meetups you host are cancelled, and your participation in other meetups is removed.
Your chat text is replaced with a deleted-message label. Shared places, public photos, and shared photo links may remain with your account attribution removed.
Photos in your phone's photo library are not deleted by deleting your BEV account.

Shared content and retained records

Removing account attribution does not remove personal details visible inside a shared photo or other content. Contact support if you need that content removed.

Limited records may be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or dispute resolution. Backups, logs, and copies already shared with others may remain as described in our privacy policy.

Safety reports may retain reported text or photos so the team can investigate abuse, even after account identifiers are removed from the report.

Older media whose ownership cannot be verified automatically may remain after account deletion. Limited file references are kept for manual ownership review. Contact bevvcool@gmail.com for help completing that cleanup.

If an in-app deletion fails, follow the error message or contact support so the request can be completed.
